Henry’s marry was an important political marry. The marriage was void of love, Spanish princess weeping and wailing, priestly priest chanting verociously, and King and Queen presiding pompously. Henry’s failure to marry the Spain Princess reflect his “new way” of thinking, Utopian in context. Henry and his father King Francis supported Da Vinci. Da Vinci brought Rennaisance thought, inventions, and philosophy to France. Italian architecure, painting, and literature influencing various aspects of life in France. Henry vows to Danielle he will build a University for the common man and invite all to attend and learn. Da Vinci demonstrate that man can walk on water.

4. Danielle is sold by Baroness deGhent too Monsieur Pierre Le Pieu. Monsieur Pierre Le Pieu approaches Danielle and implies that he will take ownership of her. Danielle has no protection against the boastful assertion.

5. Monsieur Pierre Le Pieu exchanges items pawned from the household, as it fell into financial ruin. Monsieur Pierre Le Pieu intends for Danielle to become a mistress with strong under currents of servitude.

6. Danielle wounds Monsieur Pierre Le Pieu then tells him she was taught swordsmanship by her father. Monsieur Pierre Le Pieu tells Danielle, he could have her hung for threaten the life of her master. Monsieur Pierre Le Pieu yields a key that opens ankle shackles and walks free.

7. Baroness Rodmilla de Ghent exposes Danielle as her servant at the ball. Henry declares his life is devoted to the crown and Danielle will not address him as Henry. Henry exhibits a strong disguise for the common man. Danielle seemingly failing to convince Henry that the common person yielded power to him. Henry’s arrogance raising the pride of aristocracy, betraying Danielle, and banishing her into despair and ruin. Only royalty was allowed to marry royalty and Danielle impersonation of royalty was a violation of noble code.

8. Baroness is a position. Danielle by birth was not a baroness and when Danielle father married Rodmilla de Ghent, the new wife assumed the position of Baroness. Danielle as step daughter could legally be pushing into servitude. Danielle could not claim nobility on the basis of birth. Danielle instead chivalrously won the affection of Henry through acts of valor, bravery, and forthright opinions defying the status quo.

9. “Ever After” was a fancy way to tell the story of the Renaissance movement in France.
