Books : Think and Grow Rich ( Napoleon Hill ) ( Financial )

1. Ideas are things and powerful things when they are mixed with definiteness of purpose, persistence, and a burning desire to translate into riches.

All patterns are spiritual. Truth and light are the source of all great ideas. God is the greatest source of riches. If Solomon's wealth spread over generations and created 100s of trillions of dollars of wealth than expect God's wealth to be immeasurable and spread over all eternity.

2. Remain ready until you get what you seek. Faith is God and family is the first law of prosperity. God provides all good gifts and his wealth is ubiquitous. Ask, seek and Find.

3. When opportunity comes it will appear in a different form than expected, often in the form of misfortune or temporary defeat. Perhaps, this is why so many fail to recognize the opportunity.

4. One of the most common causes of failure is the habit of quitting when one is overtaken by temporary defeat; seek expert counsel before giving up.

Seek Wisdom and understanding.

5. When riches begin to come they come so quickly, in such great abundance, that one wonders where they have been hiding during all those lean years.

Heat consume fuel and oxygen, the faster the burn rate the hotter the fire. Likewise, demand fuels demand and drives growth.

6. Riches begin with a state of mind, with definiteness of purpose, with little or no work.

7. Success comes to those who are success conscious.

8. We have power to control our thoughts. Consider the rise of individualism. China has abandoned communism. Chinese expression in Art and thought is in demand.

9. The desire for money drives the individual until he becomes money conscious and compels the individual to create definite plans to acquire money. There is a difference between wishing for something and being ready.

Moral certainty must govern his desires for money. Products are getting better and cheaper, real income is decreasing, and resources are becoming plentiful. Energy, food, and ideas are unlimited resources.

10. I will burn all bridges behind me and stake everything on getting what I want.

Don't look back. Keep a commitment to move forward.

11. If the thing you wish to do is right, and you believe in it, go ahead and do it!

Courage is born when accompanied by Justice (Mas Oyama).

12. The power of strong desire backed by faith is the power to lift men from lowly beginnings to places of power and wealth.

Desire leads to faith, patience and diligence lead to good works and joy. The emotions of love, joy, and faith are powerful emotions aiding rational thought.

13. “Repetition of affirmation of orders to your subconscious mind is the only known method of voluntary development of the emotion of faith.”

Experiment and don’t kill desire with doubt. “There are millions of people who believe themselves doomed to poverty and failure, because of some strange force over which they believe they have no control.”

Waste is abhorred. One man's failures are another man's opportunities. There is no waste, long-term - everything recycles

14. “Your belief, or faith, is the element which determines the action of your subconscious mind.” “Faith is the element which transforms the ordinary vibration of thought, created by the finite mind of man, into the spiritual equivalent.” “Ghandi wielded more potential power than any man living in his time, and this despite the fact that he had none of the orthodox tools of power, such as money, battleships, soldiers and materials of warfare. Gandhi had no money, no home, he did not own a suit of clothes, but he did have power. He created it out of his understanding of the principle of faith, and through his ability to transplant that faith into the minds of two hundred million people.”

15. Think 30 minutes a day about the person you want to become and spend 10 minutes a day building self-confidence.

16. Shun Pride: Jacob 2:13, And the hand of providence hath smiled upon you most pleasingly, that you have obtained many riches; and because some of you have obtained more abundantly than that of your brethren ye are lifted up in the pride of your hearts, and wear stiff necks and high heads because of the costliness of your apparel, and persecute your brethren because ye suppose that ye are better than they. 14. And now, my brethren, do ye suppose that God justifieth you in this thing? Behold, I say unto you Nay. But he condemneth you, and if ye persist in this thing his judgments must speedily come unto you. 15. O that he would show you that he can pierce you, and with one glance of his eye he can smite you to the dust!

17. Seek wealth for the benefit of others. Jacob 2:19, And after ye have obtained hope in Christ ye shall obtain riches, if ye seek them; and ye will seek them for the intent to do good – to cloth the naked, and to feed the hungry, and to liberate the captive, and administer relief to the sick and the afflicted.
